How we write and review

The blog, the guides and the case studies on this site are published under one contract. This page is that contract, and the checks behind it run on every release.

    Every article has a named author

    Technical articles are signed by the person who wrote them, with a profile page, a role and public profiles that identify them elsewhere. The default technical author is Vitaly Goncharenko, Founder & CEO at HoverBot. "HoverBot Team" is used only when no individual can honestly sign a piece.

    Claims are backed by public sources

    Articles cite primary or authoritative public sources for the specific claims they make: standards bodies, regulators, vendor documentation, peer-reviewed work. A source is never a HoverBot page, another blog or an aggregator. 25 of 30 articles currently publish a Sources section; the remainder predate this rule and are being revised rather than back-filled with citations they were not written against.

    Metrics come from receipts

    A number about HoverBot, its customers or its releases traces to a record we hold: a release log, a benchmark run, a conversation review, an analytics export. We do not publish invented metrics, invented customers or invented outcomes. Where a figure is an estimate or an industry range rather than a measurement, the article says so.

    Customer evidence is anonymised unless the customer agrees to be named

    Case studies and testimonials describe real deployments. Company names, people and any detail that could identify a customer are removed unless that customer has approved being named. We do not publish customer PII or private correspondence.

  5. 05

    Revisions are dated

    When an article is substantively revised, the visible "Updated" date and the structured-data modification date change together. Cosmetic edits do not change the date. The publication date is never moved.

    Corrections

    If you find an error, write to hi@hoverbot.ai with the URL and the correction. Substantive corrections are made in the article, dated, and noted at the point of change.
